Base Camp Bigfork Lodge
Nestled amidst the pristine beauty of Montana’s Flathead Valley, this private vacation home offers an idyllic escape with stunning views and unparalleled comfort. Located 3 miles from the charming village of Bigfork and the shimmering waters of Flathead Lake. This secluded haven is your perfect base for exploring the wonders of Glacier National Park, just shy of an hour drive away.
Since this is also the home of our winter dogsled tours, the lodge sides are named after traditional dogsled commands, “Gee” (right) and “Haw” (left).
“Gee” side has a queen bed and private bath. “Haw” side has a king size bed on the lower level, bathroom, and a spiral stair leads up to a semi-private loft with two additional full size beds and lounge area. The center of the lodge is a full kitchen and dining space that works great for gathering. (During our off-peak season, September through May, each side can be booked exclusively with the other side unoccupied for smaller group sizes and discounts rates.)

The Entire Lodge
The lodge, our thoughtfully designed Montana vacation home, is available year-round and is a nature lovers paradise. Families or groups of friends that all want to be together but enjoy the separation of their own space will love the privacy of this 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin with full kitchen. Amazing views of the Swan Range from our peaceful and private property that borders endless public lands makes for the perfect Montana get-away. Rates vary seasonally.
Entire Lodge (Sleeps 8)The Gee Side
The “Gee” side of the lodge is great for couples who are looking for affordable luxury and a tranquil retreat. A comfortable queen size bed and private bath give you all of the comforts of a hotel room with a wooded Montana setting right out your front door. A kitchen and gathering space add to the amenities. (The “Haw” side will be locked and unoccupied during your stay. Only available to book September-May.) Discounted off-season rates.
“Gee” Side (Sleeps 2)The Haw Side
The “Haw” side of the lodge is available for those of you who need a slightly larger room for your family or a group of friends. A king bed on the lower level, with adjacent bathroom and a spiral stair takes you to a semi-private loft with two additional full size beds and a sofa. A kitchen and gathering space add to the amenities. (The “Gee” side will be locked and unoccupied during your stay. Only available to book September-May.) Discounted off-season rates.
“Haw” Side (Sleeps 4)Yurt
Escape from the ordinary and enjoy a unique wilderness lodging experience. What it lacks in amenities it makes up for in sheer charm. Unplug from technology and immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of nature. Inside the 20′ yurt you will find a comfortable king size bed, a game table and two cozy lounge chairs to take in the panoramic Swan Mountain views from the expansive picture windows. Next door to the yurt is functional shed that houses the incinerating toilet, shower stall and a simple kitchenette. (Only available to book May through September.)
